Since our last update on the Welcome Home Contest, the landscape construction work by the Above All Masonry Design and Outdoor Living team has come to an end! This year’s journey included crafting a beautiful Unilock paver driveway and walkway. Thanks to the unbeatable beauty and quality of the Unilock pavers, Ashley and her family can enjoy a freshly renovated outdoor area for years to come.
Also included in the project was the remodelling of the front of the home and porch. Victorian Fence provided the railing for the front porch, and Walker Painting painted the porch and window frame after Woodland Contracting replaced the old bay window with a new window that was donated by East Islip Lumber.
In our last update, we covered the final replacement of the bay window, together with news on the start of the masonry work. Our team prioritized Ashley’s needs and wanted to give her and her family a lifestyle improvement. Click here to find out more about the planning involved in the early stages of the project. Our team and sponsors have been working towards the goal of turning Ashley’s outdoor space into a functional part of the home. After preparing the site, our landscape construction workers laid the concrete pavers, placed borders around the driveway, and livened up the outdoor space with colorful flowers.
For the driveway, we used Unilock Treo in the Steel Mountain color. MSI porcelain pavers, and porcelain bullnose pavers in Quartzite Grey were used on the porch. We used MSI quartz stone veneer in Alaska Grey for the porch facing and the light column, and capped the column with a natural bluestone top. Premier Electrical Solutions provided the electrical services and the fixture for the light column. All the stone materials were delivered through Astro Masonry & Supply. They also donated all the other materials needed to complete the job, including containers to dump the soil and debris, as well as cinder blocks, cement, sand, etc. SiteOne Landscape Supply, LLC. donated the beautiful plants, including a gorgeous mature plum tree and a stunning Hydrangea tree.
While our team has been adding the final touches to the project, we can’t be more excited to reveal the outcome of the combined efforts of our dedicated team and generous sponsors.
What makes us even more excited is that we won’t be alone in those moments of appreciation for our team and happiness for Ashley and her family. You don’t have to wait for our reveal photos on the Above All Masonry Design and Outdoor Living page, because we want to share that moment with you in person!
It would bring us great pleasure to have you as guests at the reveal party on the 13th of October! For the reveal, Gino’s of Nesconset will be donating food.
