An Entertainer’s Paradise in Dix Hills, NY
Every part of this Dix Hills, NY property was designed to make guests feel welcome, starting the moment they pull in. The homeowners wanted a place to host family and friends all season long, with room for a crowd and spaces that still feel comfortable for a small group. Our team delivered a complete front-to-back transformation built around large-format Unilock pavers, which give the entire property one consistent look.
A Driveway and Front Walk That Set the Tone
The welcome starts at the street. The driveway is finished with a contrasting paver apron and stacked stone pillars topped with light fixtures, and a clearly defined guest parking area keeps cars organized on busy days. From there, a broad paver walkway with a cobblestone border leads to the house. It curves to follow the shape of the home and is lined with colorful plantings and stone retaining walls, so it blends into the landscape instead of cutting across it.
A Covered Porch with an Outdoor Fireplace
Out back, the space is broken into distinct areas using a mix of curved walkways and straight, linear hardscape. Wide paver steps lead down from the covered porch, where a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace and TV create an outdoor living room that works rain or shine. Stone veneer pillars and a seat wall with a bluestone cap frame the patio edge.
Outdoor Kitchen, Pizza Oven and Bar Seating
The outdoor kitchen is built from stacked stone with a stone countertop, a built-in grill and a pizza oven, plus a long bar with seating for a crowd. A second stacked stone bar near the pool gives guests another place to gather, so the cook is never stuck working alone.
A Paver Pool Deck with a Turf Grid
The pool sits at the heart of the backyard, surrounded by a large paver deck with room for lounge chairs and a separate seating area. At the far end, individual pavers are set in a grid with grass between them, creating a soft visual transition from the pool deck into the lawn and landscaping beyond.
